How are you feeling?

It’s that time of year….

We’re wishing vacations were here already; but we still need to keep putting one foot in front of the other for another week or 3. On top of this there’s Christmas shopping to do. Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, those who do are in your shops, creating more traffic, adding to the stress you’re already under.

In the middle of all this, I want to ask – HOW ARE YOU FEELING?

It’s so easy to fall under the radar as everyone is so busy and tied up in their own set of issues that they might not notice if you’re not coping with your own. Take a moment. Breathe.

This too will pass. They say that a good meal and a great night’s sleep can really help – especially when we need to keep on keeping on. Before you know it, we’ll be debating the virtues of New Years Resolutions (it’s a month away).

If you’re not coping – speak with someone.  Even a waiter/waitress can be a willing ear which can help you take the next step. When you’re emotionally exhausted, don’t look at the longer time, only the next step; the next day, or maybe even the next hour.

Once you’re able to catch your breath again, we can discuss how to create a better year next year. But with baby steps. Just keep taking one step at a time.
